Phil has worked for over a decade in Strata Property Law with a highly respected downtown Vancouver boutique firm. During that time, Phil appeared at every level of Court in British Columbia, the Civil Resolution Tribunal, Residential Tenancy Tribunal, Human Rights Tribunal and employment matters.
Phil loves to be a teacher when he can. He is involved with the Canadian Condominium Institute as a board member and speaker at CCI seminars. Phil also teaches the Rental Managers Legal Update course for managers renewing their real estate licences under the Real Estate Services Act. This is facilitated through PAMA, the Professional Association of Managing Agents.
Three or four times a year, Phil also teaches an eight-week course at Vancouver Community College called “Law and Tenant Relations” for students training to be building managers.
Outside of law, Phil is just as busy; his whole family are very involved in theatre. Phil’s wife produces children’s plays and their children perform in many of them (and other productions). Plenty of ‘drama’ at home!
